Haha! Was thinking what I should write for the subject title and since Beatles is singing in the background now... HEEHEE!
Wow... Weekend wheezed by and now another weekend is right around the corner! Had an awesome weekend with Lov ^___^ It was Free Comic Day on Saturday at G&B Comics and we went to join in the fun! 1st time for me and was exciting! Members could pick up 10 free comics and non-members 5. We picked up some cool comics and then I spotted Star Wars Insider #117 collector’s edition – Boba Fett!! WOOHOO!!! and immediately grabbed a copy. After that, we had lunch at Zac’s Cafe. I’ve seen or passed by this place a thousand times or more but never got around to eating there. There were not many customers at the time and we like it cos that’s what we wanted – some place cosy and away from all the hustle and bustle.
After a great and relaxing lunch, we walked down to Bugis and went to our usual comic hunt and then to BHG and guess what?? Lov spotted this at 20% discount!!!
Yup!!! He got it for me!!! YAY!!! He told me it wasn’t there the last time we were there (so he WAS looking out for me) and he can't find it anywhere else. Lucky me!!! It's now in stock and BONUS: ON SALE!!! YIPPEEE!!!

Now I have to look for Aayla Secura’s action figure to complete the set... Heeeeee...
That day was just an awesome day... Still smiling about it ^_____^ We avoided all the crowded places as much as we could. We headed down to Selegie and chilled out at another cafe to read our comics. We later went to another comic store there (Comics World) and had a great chat with the owner, Uncle Bill. He’s so cool ^_^ We didn’t plan on getting anything but ended up with some comics and collectibles... Hmm, when was the last time Lov bought comics??? Keekee!!
It was a perfect day and to end that day, we took a slow walk down the museum and went to one last favourite hang-out before heading back home...
Sunday was another relaxing day. We decided to canned the idea of going to the Flea market and spent the day with Lov’s mom instead. We all had good time – simple breakfast at a nearby coffeeshop, window-shopping at the mall, browsing through books at the bookshop... There were some good books but didn’t feel like buying any. Plus I still have some books to read at home.
Monday was yet another leisure day. Lov had the day off and we decided to just stay home and chill. Tuesday till today, I spent time alone mostly reflecting and balancing some personal stuff that I need to address. I know I will be able to pull through everything. Things happen from time to time but I WILL remain focus on my goal. I know I can do it! Lov’s been very supportive and I’m very grateful and happy with what I’ve accomplished so far. Doesn’t matter how big or small the accomplishment, what matter is I keep moving forward! I found myself singing to this song today when I was keeping my cool...
