Ideas for Room Makeover
Saw this lamp online and Lov liked it. Am still looking out for other lamps. Nothing too big cos we only have a small space for a small side table. If I can't find any nice side table, am thinking of fixing a shelving unit above the bed and place the lamp (I can get 2 lamps!) OR I just get those wall lamps.
The reason for the side table and lamp is cos of the position of the bed now. It's a favorable position for us but its in line with the room door. If I don't get the side table and the lamp, I'll have to get a divider so that the Chi won't be rushing in and affect us in any way. So far, we're both sleeping ok. It's only been 1 night but Lov told me that since we changed the position of the bed, his headache lessened a lot! So now, we will work on 1 room first and will see what changes will happen ;)
Back to the room, other than the side table + lamp, the room will be painted - PINK! Haha! Yeah, we're going for PINK! Probably a slightly darker shade of pink. Am still looking out for the right shade. Maybe something like this...OR this Pink...
Am also looking for heart-shaped pillows... Oh where... oh where... and... found 1 at Amazon. Isn't there any such pillows being sold locally?? Will have to keep looking. Ok, nothing to do with the intended pillow, but just how cute is this Spongebob pillow!
Now, for curtains... Am thinking of those muslin fabric curtains. Currently, we have red bamboo-like blinds in the room. Just wanted to add the curtains to enhance the window a little... well... here's a pic of our room window now and kinda missing something :P
Oh well, next on the list is bed-linen. Need new pillow-case as well. Am going for soft pastel colors that will go well with the new room color. No white sheets! Need some colors to spice up the room! ;)
